Morgan State Beats Maryland-Eastern Shore

Kevin Thompson scored 20 points to lead Morgan State over Maryland-Eastern Shore 74-60 on Monday night.
Thompson was 8 of 11 from the field as the Bears (9-8, 5-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) scored 40 points in the paint. Morgan State also scored 24 points off 19 turnovers, with 11 of those turnovers coming on steals.
The Bears outrebounded Maryland-Eastern Shore 35-29 and scored 17 second-chance points.
Ameer Ali added 13 points and Justin Black had 11 for Morgan State, which has won seven of its last eight against the Hawks and four of its last five overall.
Hillary Haley led Maryland-Eastern Shore (4-15, 1-5) with 22 points. Tyler Hines added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds and Dishawn Bradshaw had 10 points for the Hawks, who lost their third straight and seventh out of their last eight games.
